Center Guidelines

MALVERN CENTER GUIDELINES

It is the Board of Director’s responsibility to establish guidelines for the use of Malvern Center that will allow the
greatest number of people to benefit from the use of this facility and help promote a safe and positive environment supportive of recovery.

Guidelines

  1. The use of Malvern Center is restricted to the posted hours (6:00 am to 10:00 pm Sat-Thu, and 6:00 am to 1:00 am Friday) unless an exception is granted by the Board of Directors.
  2. The Malvern Center is not a halfway house, a temporary living facility or to be used for sleeping. No one, under any circumstances, may use the Malvern Center for such purposes.
  3. All supplies and equipment within the Malvern Center remain the property of Malvern Center and may not be used or borrowed for personal purposes unless authorized by the Board.
  4. Everyone is asked to be a good neighbor to the businesses that surround Malvern Center. Please obey parking regulations and place trash and cigarette butts in the appropriate containers.
  5. All members and guests using Malvern Center are asked to conduct themselves in such a fashion that will make others feel welcome, safe and comfortable while attending meetings.
  6. Smoking is prohibited at all times inside the Malvern Center. Smoking is allowed in the posted areas immediately outside the Center.
  7. Everyone is asked to avoid flagrant profanity or abusive language within the Center. This includes threatening and sexually suggestive language.
  8. Use or possession of alcohol or drugs is prohibited at all times in this facility and the areas immediately around it.
  9. No firearms or weapons of any kind are allowed within Malvern Center.
  10. No violent, aggressive, or threatening acts are permitted within the Malvern Center
  11. No pets are allowed within the Malvern Center. Service and Support Animals that are required for a disability are allowed.
  12. No gambling is permitted within the Malvern Center.
  13. Shoes and shirts are required at all times.
  14. Children aged 16 and under are to be supervised by an adult at all times.
  15. Everyone is asked to assist in the smooth operation of the Malvern Center by cleaning up after themselves and encouraging adherence to the Center’s Guidelines by all who use the Malvern Center.

The Malvern Center Board of Directors reserves the right to limit or prohibit access to the Malvern Center to any individual or group who violates these guidelines.
